Augustus Miles wants every veteran and family member to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on captions, or magnify the screen.

Our standard

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content usable by people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we do

• We check the site with automated accessibility testing and by navigating it with a keyboard alone.
• We design text and buttons to meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
• Our contact forms label every field and announce errors to assistive technology.
• We are adding accurate captions to our videos.
